MitoHunt Red FM is a red-fluorescent probe for staining mitochondria of live cells. At low concentration loading in live cells, cell-permeant MitoHunt Red FM accumulates in functioning mitochondria. MitoHunt Red FM is not well-retained in cells after fixation and this stain is only recommended for imaging in live cells. MitoHunt Red FM is excited near 588 nm and has a fluorescence emission near 644 nm.
