EverFluor 530/550 SE is an activated, amine-reactive, orange-fluorescent dye for synthesis of orange-fluorescent biomolecules. The SE group is reactive with primary amines on peptides, proteins, modified nucleotides, biopolymers and other amine-containing biomolecules. EverFluor 530/550 is optimally excited at 534 nm, non-ionic, and is relatively environment and pH insensitive. The resulting EverFluor 530/550-labeled conjugates are brightly fluorescent in both aqueous and lipid environments. .
