Both TMRM (#6275) and TMRE (#6913) are lipophilic, cationic red-orange fluorescent probes that can be used to detect changes in membrane potential in isolated mitochondria or isolated cells. The dyes do not form aggregates in cell membarnes and interact with membrane proteins minimally.
