BF 488 5-TFP Ester *5-Isomer* is an amine-reactive, green-fluorescent dye that is ideal for imaging and flow cytometry applications where label brightness and photostability are critical. Bella Fluor 488 is optimally excited by a 488 nm laser line, water soluble and brightly fluorescent in aqueous solvents. Our single-isomer, amine-reactive TFP ester yields robust amide bonds when reacted with primary amines on peptides, proteins, modified nucleotides, biopolymers and other amine containing biomolecules. TFP esters may be preferred over similar SE esters for some biolabeling reactions in aqueous solvents. TFP esters are much more resistant to spontaneous hydrolysis when used in aqueous conjugation reactions. .
