EverFluor FL-X, SE is an activated, amine-reactive green-fluorescent dye for synthesis of green-fluorescent biomolecules. EverFluor FL-X dye is optimally excited at 504 nm, non-ionic, and is relatively insensitive to environmental and pH changes. The seven-atom spacer between the dye and it’s point of attachment may reduce interactions of the dye and the biomolecule to which it has reacted. The SE activated ester is reactive with primary amines on peptides, proteins, modified nucleotides, biopolymers and other amine-containing biomolecules. The resulting EverFluor FL-labeled conjugates are brightly fluorescent in both aqueous and lipid environments. .
