9-Acridinecarboxylic acid, succinimidyl ester is an activated, amine-reactive, short-wavelength, blue-fluorescent dye that has DNA intercalating properties. 9-Acridinecarboxylic acid, succinimidyl ester has been used to prepare small DNA binding peptides for investigations of antiproliferative compounds. 9-Acridinecarboxylic acid, succinimidyl ester is excited near 364 nm with fluorescent emission near 460 nm. .
