EverFluor FL L-Cystine is a dye that is selective for reaction with thiols. The cystine disulfide is reversibly reactive with thiolated nucleotides and oligos, as well as thiol containing peptides, proteins, and biomolecules. EverFluor FL L-Cystine is non-fluorescent until it reacts with a thiol group to yield a mixed disulfide product that is green-fluorescent. EverFluor FL is optimally excited at 505 nm and is relatively environment and pH insensitive. .
