EverFluor TR-X, SE is an activated, amine-reactive red-fluorescent dye for synthesis of brightly fluorescent biomolecules. EverFluor TR dye is optimally excited at 588 nm, non-ionic, and is relatively insensitive to environmental and pH changes. The SE group is ideal for reactions with primary amines on peptides, proteins, modified nucleotides, biopolymers and other amine-containing biomolecules. The seven-atom spacer between the dye and it’s point of attachment may reduce interactions of the dye and the biomolecule to which it has reacted. The resulting EverFluor TR-labeled conjugates are brightly fluorescent in both aqueous and lipid environments. .
