6-TRITC, R-isomer is a purified, single isomer, amine-reactive orange-fluorescent dye for synthesis of orange-fluorescent biomolecules. This single isomer dye has been widely used in preparing fluorescent peptides, proteins, and enzymes and has extensive applications in immunochemistry. The isothiocyanate group is reactive with primary amines on peptides, proteins, modified nucleotides, biopolymers and other amine-containing biomolecules. The absorbance spectrum of some 6-TRITC conjugates may be dependent on the degree of labeling density and dye-dye interactions, but the fluorescence is insensitive to environment pH and is relatively photostable. Conjugates of 6-TRITC are excited near 545 nm with fluorescence emission near 572 nm.
