EverFluor 558/568, SE is an activated, amine-reactive yellow-fluorescent dye for synthesis of brightly fluorescent biomolecules. EverFluor 558/568 dye is optimally excited at 559 nm, non-ionic, and is relatively insensitive to environmental and pH changes. The SE activated ester is reactive with primary amines on peptides, proteins, modified nucleotides, biopolymers and other amine-containing biomolecules. The resulting EverFluor 558/568-labeled conjugates are brightly fluorescent in both aqueous and lipid environments. .
