EverFluor 493/503 NHS Ester is an activated, amine-reactive, green-fluorescent dye for synthesis of green-fluorescent biomolecules. EverFluor 493/503 is optimally excited at 500 nm, non-ionic, and is relatively insensitive to environmental and pH changes. The NHS activated ester (SE) is reactive with primary amines on peptides, proteins, modified nucleotides, biopolymers, and other amine-containing biomolecules. The resulting EverFluor 493/503-labeled conjugates are brightly fluorescent in both aqueous and lipid environments. .
