EverFluor FL DHPE is a bright, green-fluorescent phospholipid that is useful for membrane fusion studies and membrane surface investigations. This probe consists of our green-fluorescent EverFluor FL dye bonded to the head group of the phospholipid, DHPE. EverFluor FL is optimally excited at 505 nm and is brightly fluorescent in both aqueous and lipid environments. This probe is commonly used as a donor for fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) experiments to investigate membrane trafficking and membrane fusion. Setareh Biotech offers a variety of dye labeled phospholipids and commonly used donor-acceptor dye pairs.
