MitoHunt Green FM is a green-fluorescent probe for staining the mitochondria of live cells. At low concentration loading in live cells, cell-permeant MitoHunt Green FM accumulates in the mitochondrion of live cells and the staining is independent of mitochondrial membrane potential (ΔΨm). MitoHunt Green FM is not well-retained in cells after fixation and this stain is only recommended for imaging in live cells. MitoHunt Green FM is excited near 490 nm and has a fluorescence emission near 516 nm.
