EverFluor 581/591 SE is an activated, amine-reactive, orange-fluorescent dye for synthesis of orange-fluorescent biomolecules. EverFluor 581/591 is optimally excited at 581 nm, non-ionic, and is relatively insensitive to environmental and pH changes. The SE activated ester is reactive with primary amines on peptides, proteins, modified nucleotides, biopolymers and other amine-containing biomolecules. The resulting EverFluor 581/591-labeled conjugates are brightly fluorescent in both aqueous and lipid environments. .
