ER-Hunt Blue-White DPX is a blue-fluorescent dye that is selective for staining the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) of live cells. ER-Hunt Blue-White DPX is a cationic, hydrophobic amphipathic dye that exhibits a large Stokes shift and variable fluorescence emission. Live cells stained with ER-Hunt Blue-White DPX may be aldehyde-fixed after staining with some loss of fluorescence intensity. ER-Hunt Blue-White DPX stained cells are excited near 374 nm and have a variable, environmentally dependent fluorescence emission between 430 nm and 640 nm.
