EverFluor FL Histamine is a brightly-fluorescent, cell-permeant, live-cell stain that localizes in acidic organelles of living cells. This probe combines our bright, green-fluorescent EverFluor FL dye with the weakly basic imidazole of the biogenic amine, histamine. This probe has been used to label and track acidic organelles of living cells. EverFluor FL Histamine has also been used to investigate binding kinetics for the four histamine receptor subtypes by flow cytometry. EverFluor FL Histamine is optimally excited at 503 nm and is relatively environment and pH insensitive. .
