CellHunt CM-DiI is somewhat more water-soluble than DiI, therefore facilitating the preparation of staining solutions for cell suspensions and fixed cells. CellHunt CM-DiI contains a thiol-reactive moitey such as chloromethyl which can bind covalently to cellular thiols. Unlike other membrane stains, the labeled molecule is well retained in some cells throughout fixation and permeabilization steps. CellHunt CM-DiI is also available as 20 X 50 ug unit (Please see 7335)
