EverFluor 493/503 can be used as a stain for neutral lipids and as a tracer for oil and other nonpolar lipids. It is a highly fluorescent, non-ionic and lipophilic dye. EverFluor 493/503 is optimally excited at 493 nm and is relatively environment and pH insensitive. .
