Bella Fluor 488 Hydrazide is an aldehyde and ketone-reactive analog of our green-fluorescent BF 488 dye. Hydrazides are useful for labeling and detection of polysaccharides and glycoproteins. In addition, BF 488 Hydrazide may also be used as a polar tracer dye for long-term cell labeling, and following cell division, cell lysis, or liposome fusion. Bella Fluor 488 is optimally excited by a 488 nm laser line, water soluble and brightly fluorescent in aqueous solvents. .
