A biotinylated-Aminooxy form of Biotin that reacts freely with the exposed aldehyde group formed at abasic sites in damaged DNA. The labeled bound DNA can be quantitated with Fluorescent or Enzyme conjugated Streptavadin complexes. It can also be used in Microplate Assays.
