EverFluor FL C5-Ceramide is green-fluorescent membrane probe that is a selective stain for the Golgi apparatus in live cells. EverFluor FL C5-Ceramide is useful for investigation of inhibition of glycoprotein transport by ceramide therapeutics, sphingolipid distribution kinetics, and the intracellular trafficking and targeting of thrombin receptors. Our brightly fluorescent EverFluor FL C5-Ceramide is non-ionic, relatively insensitive to environmental and pH changes, and is excited near 505 nm with a fluorescence emission near 512 nm. .
