EverFluor 630/650-X SE is an activated, amine-reactive, red-fluorescent dye for synthesis of red-fluorescent biomolecules. The SE group is reactive with primary amines on peptides, proteins, modified nucleotides, biopolymers and other amine-containing biomolecules. The seven-atom spacer between the dye and it’s point of attachment may reduce interactions of the dye and the biomolecule to which it has reacted. EverFluor 630/650 is optimally excited at 625 nm, non-ionic, and is relatively environment and pH insensitive. The resulting EverFluor 630/650-labeled conjugates are brightly fluorescent in both aqueous and lipid environments. .
