Lucifer Yellow anhydride dipotassium salt is an amine-reactive, synthetic building block for synthesis of highly fluorescent and water-soluble Lucifer Yellow polar tracer probes. The anhydride group is reactive with alkyl and aromatic amines and yields a stable naphthalimide product.
