Description

Resorufin Acetate is a fluorogenic substrate for hydrolytic esterases and cellulases that has been used as a substrate for chymotrypsin and cytosolic aldehyde dehydrogenase. Enzymatic hydrolysis of resorufin acetate yields red-fluorescent resorufin and is monitored by absorbance near 571 nm and fluorescence emission near 585 nm.
