Description

Rh110-2(Asp) is a cell-permeant fluorogenic enzyme substrate for the caspase proteases that are associated with apoptosis. Rh110-2(Asp) is a common substrate for the caspases, a family of enzymes that exhibit proteolytic activity targeting aspartic acid (Asp) in the P1 position of substrates. Rh110-2(Asp) is non-fluorescent until enzymatic cleavage of the Asp groups liberates the green-fluorescent Rh110 dye in a two-step hydrolysis pathway. Enzymatic activity is detected by fluorescence with the excitation near 496 nm and fluorescent emission near 520 nm. Please see other related products at the bottom of this page.
