Description
EverFluor 558/568 C12, SE is an orange-fluorescent, amine-reactive dye for the synthesis of orange-fluorescent biomolecules. The NHS activated ester (SE) is reactive with primary amines on peptides, proteins, modified nucleotides, biopolymers and other amine-containing biomolecules. EverFluor 558/568 C12, SE is optimally excited at 558 nm, non-toxic, non-ionic, and is relatively insensitive to environmental and pH changes. The twelve-atom spacer between the dye and it’s point of attachment may reduce interactions of the dye and the biomolecule to which it has reacted.
